Harro!
We got our SPM results yesterday.
The night before I was really nervous and going mad.
On the morning itself, I was still very nervous.
However when I reached school, I just felt numb. I don't know why, but it feels dreamlike to me; getting my SPM results. Hahah. I'm so weird, I know.
Anyway, we did a great deal of waiting! Was in school from 9.45am, and results came out just before 11am.
Just walked around tempat menunggu, canteen and Foyer C waiting for the teachers to come down with our results. Very happy to see all my school friends again, I really miss the old days :(
When the teachers finally came down, many people screamed, lol.
And thennnn a whole flurry of students went rushing to their respective teachers to get their results!
(including me)
Our class was taken over by Pn. Aliah for some reason; our class teacher must've been absent.
Anyhoo, I got my file (filled with our certs and stuff like that) and school magazine, andddd Pn. Aliah handed me my result slip with this sort of...knowing smile.
I looked at the slip, anddddd....
I got 8A's. 1A+, 4A's, 3A-'s and 2B+'s.
I can't say I'm totally surprised.
You get what you worked for, eh :p
Though I AM surprised at some of my results like..Biology. I got an A-! I was fearing for my Bio because I remember during SPM, just a day before the exam I was studying, and I found that there were things I'd never read before in the reference book! Panicked like a madwoman.
I'm glad I managed to get an A-, hehe.
I'm very sad, however, that I got a B+ for Physics.
Mummy would've been sad, I think :/
Mr. Yeoh and Pn. Santhy, I AM SO SORRY.
I don't know what happened. The paper was just odd for me :(
I must've messed up the Paper 3 Vernier Callipers question worse than I thought.
Sigh.
I dishonour my family.
The other B+ I got was Chemistry, which I suppose was to be expected. I was never great at Chemistry, so that didn't surprise me thaaat much. I was still hoping and hoping for an A- though, hah.
My A-'s are for History, Add Maths and Bio.
Hooray for Add Maths! As long as it's an A, I'm happy :) Never gotten an A for Add Maths before.
Yes, not even an A- :p
History was to be expected; I didn't memorise the text books as much as I did during PMR year, heh.
My A's were for BM, Pendidikan Islam, Mathematics and EST. I'm very glad I got an A for BM, seeing as everyone keeps saying how they raise the bar for marking the BM paper, and also, I had a dream a couple nights before that I got a C for BM! Which made me panic about it, of course.
Probably should've gotten an A+ for Maths though :p But I'm glad for the A.
My only A+ was for English, of course (no other subjects left, haha.). Yay for English :)
Aaaand those are my results. After hearing from Julia that over 9,000 SPM candidates got straight A's, I felt really low about my results. But now I've sort of cheered up a bit (just a tad), because at least I'm done with it, and I did relatively well, seeing as I've been a lazy bum throughout the year.
Alhamdulillah, I'm very fortunate to get the results I got :)
Also, I did it without having mummy pushing me all the way! So that should count for something..I think.
CONGRATULATIONS to all my lovely friends who got awesome results!!!
I'm so proud to know such smart people :')
Anyway, it's late now, and tomorrow we're going to Langkawi, so YAY :)
Sorry for the wordy post :p
